Who We Are
Natalie Bowen Designs is a boutique floral and event design studio specializing in breathtakingly beautiful arrangements with a chic creative edge. Our design style is inspired by color, movement, architecture and fresh seasonal flowers. We create styled weddings and social events.
Natalie’s passion and talent for floral design came naturally,as she is the third generation to have a career in flowers. Her mother, a talented garden designer, helped Natalie host her first flower arranging party when she was only in the first grade. Her Grandmother ran the flower shop at the Fairmont Hotel, the Mark Hopkins Hotel and one in West Portal in the 1940’s. Natalie studied Industrial Design and this training and viewpoint comes through in her work. She loves all aspects of design and gathers her inspiration from architecture, fashion, art and nature. When Natalie, who’s family has lived in California for over 100 years, isn’t designing away in her SOMA floral studio, you will most likely find her traveling. Photo: Kate Webber.
The Natalie Bowen Designs Team consists of a group of talented individuals that work beautifully on their own and in a group. Some own their own businesses, some are professional freelancers, some have art degrees and some are fantastic stylists. Together, the team has nearly one hundred years of experience. What we all have in common is that we know, love and are passionate about flowers. We build our team for each event based on the strengths and skills that are needed most. Oh, and we love to pot-luck lunch together, too!
