I had the great pleasure of doing the flowers for a beautiful Yountville wedding for a true flower lover. The bride was enthusiastic about the flowers and even accompanied me on a trip to the flowers market, where she oohed and ahhed her way through the many stalls of flowers.
The bride loved ranunculus and lucky for her they were at the height of their season for her wedding. We made a bridal bouquet of roses and easter egg ranunculus that are almost five inches in diameter!
The bride, who has a passion for design and writes about it on her blog Sacramento Street, has a great eye. We designed a head table with a number of arrangements made of single varieties of white flowers in glass vases in a number of sizes. We used lilac, parrot tulips, dogwood, carnations, freesia and big fluffy roses to set a romantic mood. Not even the weather could get her down.
