unexpected harvest

We love to be seasonal and sometimes that means an unexpected pop of late bounty from a season we thought had past. We found the most adorable lentil sized tomatoes from a forager at the flower market last Friday. We arranged them with the last of the Sonoma garden roses, pistachio and pomegranates. We have really been loving this softer play on Fall colors. Somehow soft pinks and peaches seem to feel fall-like without screaming “I’m a Fall Arrangement!”.

I feel so lucky that Jenny takes so many great photos of our work. I love this image that captures her taking the above photos. You can see more of her work at This Humble Abode.
