Recently we came across a book so beautiful it has got us inspired beyond our own expectations. Before They Pass Away is a stunning project by a photographer Jimmy Nelson who photographed and captured the unique culture identities of 29 slowly disappearing tribes around the world. They are all deserving of a feature but as florists, we would like to highlight The Drokpa, a tribe of about 2,500 people living between India and Pakistan. Their main source of income are well-tended vegetable gardens, their dress ornaments and jewelry are exquisite and to no surprise we were completely drawn to the elaborate and completely inspiring floral headpieces.
