green and blue and mint all over

I had the pleasure of working with Alyssa Brown from Alison Events on a beautiful wedding at Durham Ranch. The setting was just perfect for a relaxed wedding with lots of detail. The day reflected both the couple and the natural surroundings with effortless ease.

I love it when a client wants something that isn’t “flowery”. The bride requested that the flowers not look like traditional wedding arrangements so we used mint, succulents, thistle and scabiosa pod. The shades of green and blue were stunning in the outdoor landscape and against the bride’s red hair.

The tables were set with flowers in beakers which was a fun take on a simple bud vase. We filled the vases with mint which brought a refreshing scent to the warm afternoon. The bride brought books from her own collection where were then used as table numbers. HelloLucky! designed all the paper details including a puzzle menu which was hit with all the guests.

There are few places that reflect Calistoga summertime the way Durham Ranch does. To see more images from this wedding please visit the Style Me Pretty blog.

Happy Summer no matter where you live!

  1. Hey Natalie! Glad your work is getting such well-deserved attention. Your flowers were absolutely beautiful, and we loved the clear vision you brought to the event. You totally understood what we were going for, and went beyond our wildest dreams. (I still LOVE the scabiosa pods!) Thanks so much!
