good enough to eat

On Memorial Day weekend we had a wedding at a private home in Calistoga that was a full weekend affair. The couple met in New York and happened to be the featured wedding in the New York Times Weddings/Celebrations section yesterday and you may read their sweet story here.

The couple were married under a Chuppah adorned with wild roses, honeysuckle and peonies. Below you will see the details inside the Moroccan tent which was a great spin on the wedding “lounge”.

The flowers were a fragrant and good enough to eat in a colorful combination of tree peonies, scabiosa, mint, ranunculus, bunny tail, cherries on the branch, lavender, rosemary, honeysuckle, kumquats and scabiosa pod.

Paparazzi you ask? Not only was the photo team from the NYTimes at the wedding, “Say Yes to the Dress” was also filming and the couples photographer Andrew Weeks was there, too. Brittani from Dream a Little Dream did a great job of calmly orchestrating us all.

Congratulations to this fun and fabulous couple.
