We were thrilled to see Tara and Stephanie’s wedding featured in the recent 7×7 Wedding. We loved everything about this wedding and it goes on our all time top three favorite weddings list. The brides hosted a delicious and lovely celebration at one of my favorite secret getaways, The Booneville Hotel. The sweet couple wanted the scent of herbs to fill the air as guests brushed against the garlands on the tables. We used rosemary, geranium, mint, oregano and bay to compliment the bright summer blooms of garden roses, dahlias, ranunculus, feverfew, clover and wild sweet peas.

The incredible wreath below was created by the couple. Close to 300 individual blooms all wired together made such an impact and was a true labor of love. I adore it and wish I had made it myself…however I am grateful I did not have to make all those hand-made paper blooms.

Garlands of bay, rosemary and oregano decorated the tables and the brides’ chairs.

We loved this couple’s vision, to have a fun wedding that was all about the guests. From the tequila table to the striped straws, all the details were colorful and festive. They chose bright bright yellow and red for their flowers and took the time to wrap each container in circus inspired decorative papers. For the rustic yet beautiful space that is the Headlands Center for the Arts, it was just right. This wedding was recently featured on Style Me Pretty where you can see more of Joel Flory’s gorgeous images.

Below are a few more images from our library.

Sand blasted manzanita and mums created a focal point during the ceremony. Cans wrapped in paper designed just for this couple were filled with sweet peas, strawflower and chamomile.
